What is your favourite topic to teach & why?

Foundation. The skin is the largest part of our face, and the first thing people notice when they look at us. Everyone loves beautiful and healthy looking skin, but few are blessed with flawless skin. I feel that beautiful skin alone can help boost one’s self confidence. Anyone can apply foundation, but not many are able to achieve a natural look that balances the rest of their skintone.

Why do you feel passionate about makeup education?

Not everyone has access to Makeup artists everyday, but everyone wants to look good and feel confident about how they look. Make-Up can be empowering, and shows that you put in effort to be presentable and polished. If we care to dress up our bodies and hair, why not our face as well?

What would you like your student to take away from their classes besides amazing makeup knowledge?

Being appreciative of their own features and that they are beautiful with and without makeup.

What are your hobbies or pastimes?

Watching movies on Netflix, reading books and working out!

What makeup journey like? When you first started applying makeup until now?

When I was young, my self-esteem and self-confidence was always Low. Because of that, I ventured into makeup. In fact, I first started out just using concealer and eyeliner in my routine and I realised it really helped boost my self-confidence. Intrigued, I wanted to learn more. I loved how flawless youtubers and instagrammers looked, but overtime I developed my own style. I kept practicing and I realise the more you practice, the better you get. That was then, and now I’m an Educator at Bloom by Roseanne!
